Akila, the wolf-hybrid, is featured on this page. She was beginning to show signs of ill health, and was taken to the vet for treatment. Akila was diagnosed with pyometra which afflicts the uterus and requires immediate spaying.  The third picture
down on the left is a picture of normal canine ovaries and uterine horns next to Akila's (swollen, afflicted with pyometra). 
She has since recovered and is doing wonderful.
