Alladin had a successful root canal with the expertise of Dr. Richard Burrows, D.V.M., James A. Ransdell, D.D.S., Dr. Burrows staff and Keepers staff.
It takes quite a few people to carry a sleeping tiger! Here you can see the exposed nerve.
Dr. Burrows inserts the tracheal tube for the anestethic gas. Dr. Ransdell explains to Tina the finer points of "tiger dentistry".
Jim assists with the root canal. The tiger's vital signs are constantly monitored.
Ruby also assists in animal medical procedures. Bleeding has to be controlled at all times.
