IN MEMORY OF...

Houdini passed away on April 5, 2006 due to complications from the Cushings disease he was diagnosed with earlier this year. He had been on medication since to ease the symptoms; however, there is no cure. Houdini - affectionately called Houdi - was a very sweet and loving hybrid, and is sorely missed - not only by his human companions - but by his 'mate,' Akila. Akila was socialized with next-door neighbors Lobo and Misty, and now shares a habitat with them. Houdini's story will be added to the Medical Emergencies topic of this site to share his symptoms, how he was diagnosed and the prescribed treatment.
